Zooplankton Distribution in Apalachicola Bay

Zooplankton play an integral role in coastal food webs, and a greater understanding of their community structure is necessary to link primary producers and secondary/tertiary consumers. In 2016, a long-term monitoring project was initiated to begin characterizing the zooplankton communities of Apalachicola Bay. Sam will share information on distribution patterns observed in these communities and discuss linkages to environmental parameters and nutrient inputs over a two-year period (2018-2019).
