Reserve Wednesday: Botanical Legacy of Chapman

Join us at the Apalachicola NERR Nature Center for February’s ‘Reserve Wednesday’ talk at 2PM on February 15. Dr. Rebecca Dolan, retired Director of the Friesner Herbarium at Butler University and Franklin County resident, will be discussing the botanical legacy of Alvan Wentworth Chapman. Chapman authored “Flora of the Southern United States” in 1860, the first publication to describe the plants of this region of the world.
