Quantifying River Flow Metrics for the Apalachicola River

Dr. Steve Leitman will provide an overview of a new project looking to develop and quantify scientifically defensible river flow metrics that can be used as evaluation criteria to test potential modifications to federal reservoir operations in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) River system. This project aims to improve ecological resilience in the Apalachicola River floodplain and estuary while minimizing impacts to upstream stakeholders.
