Birding 101

ANERR’s Birding 101 class will cover the basics of birding. We’ll discuss the basics of bird identification, bird biology, optics, references, birds that are found in the immediate area, and any other topics that might arise. This will be very informal and can be modified depending on what the class wants. After the classroom portion, we will head out to a nearby spot to practice what we learned.
Paul Wharton, a longtime birder and recent FWC retiree will be leading the class.
